Named after Claytor Lake the Claytor Lake State Park offers a wide variety of activities for water and land enthusiasts. The park has a full-service marina with docking slips, supplies, fuel, boat rentals, and refreshments. Our Mission
To act as a non-profit Citizen Support Organization assisting in conserving the natural, cultural scenic and recreational resources of Claytor Lake State Park; to assist in providing a variety of recreational and educational opportunities, and to assist in promoting environmental stewardship.
Our Vision
Claytor Lake State Park Ambassadors will strive to see that Claytor Lake State Park facilities remain, at or are improved to, ideal standards and that funding is made available for projects and programs that benefit patrons, all while conserving the natural environment of the park.
